Weight: I weigh approximately 36.20 lbs.

Darla is the sweetest foster we’ve ever had. She’s a perfect size in that she’s small enough to easily pick up but sturdy enough to play with big dogs. She loves to snuggle and have her belly rubbed and is really easy to walk with a harness. She loves to take short walks and probably does not need much more exercise than that. She’s house broken as long as she is let out after eating.
She loves her foster dog siblings and doesn’t pay much attention to our cat. Even though she is underweight, she is very respectful of our dog’s food bowls (one of our dogs just picks at her food throughout the day). Darla hasn’t been interested in toys although she did chew on a bone once. She rarely barks, even at the two little dogs who bark non-stop next door. She just runs over to the fence with her tail wagging to say hi.
We have been giving her baths to help her skin clear up. She has to be carried to the bath because she not a fan of water, but she doesn’t struggle once in the tub. Because she gets baths upstairs, she will not willingly come upstairs. Still there’s not an aggressive bone in her body. We put her on the leash to get her upstairs, so she can snuggle with my 9 year old while I do bedtime stories.
While our house is not wild, we have three kids who can be loud. Darla isn’t bothered by them. Our oldest loves to rile up our boxer mix. Darla gets a little scared and will just avoid these two when they are being extra wild. And of course she has welcomed and loved every single person who has come to our house.
