Bobo (A569024)
I freaking love Bobo. He’s shy and fearful at the shelter. But his fear is one that seeks comfort from me, and is a normal response to the chaos and noise of the shelter. Bobo was easy to leash up and didn’t pull on the leash as we walked. He went potty shortly after going outside. He was curious about his environment, catching up on the sniffs in the yard and not at all pushy or demanding for attention. He took treats gently and when I crouched down to his level he didn’t jump on me, but put his head in my lap for pats.
While we were out, Bobo and I saw several other dogs (Roxy in the nearby pen, a potential adopter’s dog in the lobby) and he was non-reactive and polite to all. We did not have a “greeting” with contact with any dog but Bobo has met other dogs on leash with other volunteers and was tolerant, not interested in play and seemed to have the most relaxed body language around a smaller female dog.
Bobo had a photoshoot with happy paws photography through the second shot program and at first it was hard to capture him because he just wants to be close to you, but the team of photographers did end up getting the shot!
