Cortez A569613 Meet Cortez, a handsome, affectionate pup with a playful personality and a heart full of love. Cortez has quickly become a favorite thanks to his easygoing nature and joyful spirit. Even on a rainy day when he wasn't feeling his best, he still found time for toys, treats, and plenty of tail wags. Now that he's feeling better, he's been enjoying the sunshine and showing off even more of his wonderful personality. This sweet boy loves toys and is perfectly content entertaining himself, whether he's carrying one around or settling into an adorable full-body sploot while playing. He also enjoys a good game of tug and proudly demonstrates his excellent "sit" when treats are involved. Smart, playful, and eager to engage, Cortez is a fun companion to spend time with. He walks nicely on leash, appears housebroken, and enjoys getting out and exploring. Cortez has shown interest in meeting other dogs and recently met another shelter dog, Ace, and did well. In playgroup, he has been described as gentle and steerable, playing appropriately with other dogs. According to his previous owner, Cortez is housebroken, dog-friendly, does well in a crate, and doesn't mind cats as long as they aren't chasing him. His birthday is November 9. Most of all, Cortez is friendly, affectionate, and generous with kisses.
