Meet Daya
Daya is a gentle soul who is ready for a fresh start and a kind family who will show her just how loved she deserves to be. Life may not have always been kind to this sweet girl, but through it all, she has remained soft-hearted and trusting.
With her adorable ears, soulful eyes, and love of snacks, Daya quickly wins people over. She is very food motivated and already knows "sit," making her a great candidate for learning even more. During her outing, she happily took care of her business several times and enjoyed exploring the world around her.
Daya also met another female dog and handled the introduction politely, allowing plenty of sniffing without much fuss or concern. She seems to have a calm, easygoing nature and prefers to take things at her own pace.
Right now, Daya is a little thin and has some skin issues that need time and care to heal. What she needs most is a loving home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and let her true personality shine. I have a feeling there's an amazing dog waiting to blossom once she leaves the shelter behind.
