Meet Palmer!
This busy, handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray, and he's ready to trade the streets for a forever home full of love and adventure.
Palmer is all personality. He's excitable and enthusiastic — he'll jump up to say hello and shower you with plenty of kisses. Don't let that first burst fool you, though! Once he gets outside and burns off a little energy, he settles down a bit. He went potty right away (and several times after), so this guy knows the drill.
Toys didn't catch his interest, and treats? Not his thing either. Palmer is just too busy taking in the world around him. A little mouthiness might pop up — pure excitement possibly.
Palmer did well in his dog test meeting another pup named Prescott, even offering kisses. So if you've got a canine companion at home, Palmer might just be your new best friend's best friend too.
Palmer would thrive best in an active home— a hiking buddy, a jogging partner, a backyard explorer. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick who keeps you on your toes and rewards you with wet kisses, Palmer is your guy.
