Meet Simba
This active, intelligent guy is ready to find a family who can keep up with his playful spirit. Simba absolutely loves to play — whether he's rolling in the grass, chasing after his favorite stuffies, or pouncing on balls, he brings 100% joy to every moment.
He even showed off his skills with some agility training! He knows "sit," takes treats with excitement, and is quick to head outside for potty breaks.
Simba has a calm, collected side too. During a meet with another dog through the fence — even one who was growling and barking at him— Simba kept his cool. He also passed his food test and meeting with Reid. He can leash bite at times (likely shelter stress and/or frustration), but he can be redirected at times and responds well to guidance.
Ideal home for Simba: An active family or individual who loves outdoor adventures, playtime, and giving a dog plenty of exercise and enrichment. Because Simba values his toys (and doesn't love sharing them), a home without small children is ideal. If there's a resident dog, just put toys away during group time or give Simba space to enjoy them on his own.
Simba is ready to break free from the shelter stress and roll in some grass with his toys.
