Bio: Meet Gucci! Your 65-lb Snuggle Bug With a Heart of Gold

If you're looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion with a gentle soul and a big head made for kisses, Gucci is your guy. This 5-year-old pit bull is the full package: sweet, snuggly, and surprisingly silly.
Gucci lives for slow strolls, cozy cuddles, and a car ride any time, any place (windows down, tongue out!). He’s a true couch potato at heart, perfectly content watching birds flutter by or sunbathing in the yard like he owns the place.
He’s house-trained, crate trained, quiet, and able to relax around the home without any trouble. Gucci is highly motivated by treats (especially meatball-shaped ones!) and happily takes his valley fever medication as part of his twice-daily “treat time.” He does wonderfully with kids and adults and enjoys the company of smaller dogs. With larger dogs, a thoughtful introduction is recommended. Gucci would do best in a home without cats, where he can feel most comfortable and set up for success.
Gucci got lucky to go home to a foster home for a break from the shelter. Here's what his fosters have to say about him in a home: "Fostering Gucci has truly been one of the most joyful experiences for us. He has brought so much laughter and light into our home with his sweet personality and constant curiosity. He loves his short little walks and lives for cuddles afterward, always making sure he’s as close to us as possible. He’s completely obsessed with peanut butter and gets so excited anytime he gets to meet new people. We’re so proud of how much progress he’s made around other dogs, too. He’s grown so much more confident and comfortable. We even threw him a birthday party with pup cups and special treats, and it honestly might have been the best day of his life. He is genuinely such a good and handsome boy, and we look forward to cuddling him every single night."
