Bio: Certain dog breeds face unfounded breed discrimination, including some of our favorites- bully breeds, German Shepherds, and even our beloved Mastiffs. Despite the misinformation and misunderstanding, Mastiffs make wonderful family dogs! If you’ve dreamed of having your own XL sweetie pie, we’d love to introduce you to Chewy! Chewy spent a few weeks in a home where he did well with small and large dogs, was house and crate trained, loved toys and liked car rides! His volunteer friends think he’s a very fun guy, with one sharing:
“Chewy is a big sweet and playful puppy. He loves to go for a fast walk in the park or zoomies in a yard. He can be a bouncy guy and listens well. He knows many tricks and loves treats. This youngster has a lot of potential!”
Chewy is a big, goofy puppy at just over a year old and he doesn’t always realize his size. He’ll thrive in a home with a committed family who will give him consistent and loving training to help him grow up to be the very best big boy he can be! He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking to welcome a sweet, goofy puppy into your home, Chewy is your guy! Come meet him today!
