Bio: Little Lady came from a hoarding situation with nearly 100 dogs and was part of the first group to be helped by PACC’s Animal Restoration Kennel facility (ARK). ARK was created for the explicit purpose of addressing hoarding conditions at sites scattered throughout the county, allowing the animals in these situations to get the physical care and socialization that they need.

The dogs in Little Lady’s group ranged in age and size and even included mamas with babies- all are sweet, deserving dogs who dream of a loving home and a chance at a healthy, happy life. Each dog has a unique personality- some came to PACC vibrant and brave, while others needed more TLC and help to build confidence, but all have love to share with their future family. Here’s what one volunteer said about Little Lady’s progress:

“I’ve walked Little Lady probably half a dozen times so far. She is starting to open up, and each time I walk her, I notice that she’s getting more comfortable on her walks. She will take treats very gently from my hand (she prefers soft treats). Today, she even licked me! She seems most at ease when her kennelmate is also walking near her. She is a gentle dog with a sweet disposition. I think with love and understanding, she will absolutely blossom in a home.”

Little Lady shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d likely benefit from a confident furry friend in her future home. Ask to meet an ARK dog today!!
