Gordo is a handsome, sensitive guy who’s still learning that the world can be a safe place. He can be a bit nervous at first, especially with new people, but if you go slow and give him space, he warms up into a very sweet and affectionate companion. Once comfortable, he’ll happily sit beside you for pets, take treats gently, and even show off a playful side with other dogs.
Gordo is looking for a calm, patient home with someone who understands that building trust takes time. He’s done well with other dogs in structured settings and may enjoy a canine companion with proper introductions. He’s still gaining confidence with things like leash walking and new environments, but he’s responsive and wants to do well. With consistency, gentle handling, and a steady routine, Gordo has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
Interested parties:
Must visit PACC before 6:30pm Tuesday May 5th deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with.
