Bio: Rain is a super sweet, exuberant big puppy. I fostered her when she was a mom raising her three puppies.

Rain is probably only about a year old herself. She gets very excited to meet new people and loves to greet them with kisses and enthusiastic affection. Because she's still young, she's working on keeping all four paws on the floor instead of jumping up to say hello.

She also has a wonderfully relaxed side and is happy to curl up on the couch and spend quiet time with her person. Rain is very smart, learns quickly, and is eager to please, making her a great candidate for continued training. Like many young dogs, she's still learning what is and isn't appropriate to chew and is continuing to develop good house manners.

She was an attentive, loving mom to her puppies. While I didn't have her interacting directly with other dogs, she was calm around my own dogs through the fence and didn't bark or react as we passed by. I think she'd likely enjoy having a canine playmate with proper introductions.

Because she had puppies to care for, Rain was protective of her food around them, which is not uncommon for nursing mothers. She was comfortable with people handling or removing her food, but she may do best with supervised feeding around other dogs until she's had time to settle into a new home.

Rain did well when left alone for short periods and showed no signs of separation anxiety. After spending several weeks mostly confined with her puppies, she was more than ready to stretch her legs and explore the world. With her joyful personality, affectionate nature, and those unforgettable ears, I'm confident she'll make someone fall in love with her.
