Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 21, 2026 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: The name Ginerva derives from the Italian language and is considered a form of the name Guinevere. This lovely brindle gal may or may not be Italian- it’s hard to discern the accent of a bark! But, if she is Italian, we think she’s probably saying “Per favore, portami a casa con te!”, which translates to “Please take me home with you!” Here’s what one friend at the shelter said:
“Ginerva was nervous when we got outside of the shelter, so we popped into a play yard with her kennel mate instead of heading to the park. She relaxed a bit when she saw that her kennel mate was completely comfortable with both of us volunteers. Ginerva took cues from her buddy and eventually explored the yard, hung out in the shade, and observed traffic in the park without any barking. I think this shy, young, brindle girl will blossom in a calm, loving home where she’s given time to trust.”
Ginerva truly is a puppy at around a year old and will thrive with a bit of consistency and TLC from her future family. She shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Ginerva today!!
