Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Feb 28, 2026.

Luca came to PCACC with his brother in February 2026.
Luca’s previous owners said he was housebroken, crate trained and friendly with men, women and children. In the shelter Luca has been a staff and volunteer favorite. Polite to walk on leash and a cuddly boy!
Why is this pet on a deadline?
Luca is a friendly, exuberant dog outside the kennel! If you are a public walking volunteer you may have even walked him before! Sadly in the kennel Luca paces, spins, barks, jumps and erupts anytime he sees or hears anything enter the building. The shelter is simply too stressful for him to live in! Luca is available for foster, adoption or rescue transfer.
Dog Sociability:
- Luca was surrendered with his brother due to a conflict over food in the backyard. In the shelter Luca has been tolerant and appropriate meeting other dogs, but would benefit from a slow introduction and more social practice with other friendly dogs.
What kind of home do they need and how to help!
Luca needs a home OUT OF THE SHELTER where he can escape the kennel environment and time and space to decompress.
