*Valentina is the fearless leader of her little crew. Bold, confident, and always ready for adventure, she's usually the first to investigate something new and the first to turn playtime into a full-blown event. Wand toys are her absolute favorite, and she'll leap, chase, and pounce with enthusiasm that is impossible not to smile at. When she's not showing off her playful side, Valentina is happy to soak up attention and affection from her people. This outgoing girl is looking for a family that will appreciate her spirited personality and big heart.*
I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by the end of June*.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
