Age: The shelter staff think I am about 10 weeks old.

I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by Mid July*.
Ellie is an adorable kitten with a loud purr for such a small body. She is very cuddly and enjoys being petted or curling up in a lap. She occasionally shows affection with small head butts. Ellie is high-energy and often gallops through the house playing with small toys. Her favorite activities include chasing strings and ping pong balls, as well as wrestling with shoes. When she is tired she takes naps in her favorite chair or a lap. She is still shy with new people but once she trusts you her personality is very fun.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
