Meet Culvers! This sweet, energetic boy loves tasty treats, getting affection, and playing with other dogs once he’s had some time to settle into his new environment. Culvers can be shy around new people, but treats and allowing him to approach at his own pace are great ways to help him warm up and build confidence. He has fairly good house manners, is crate trained, and is mostly potty trained, though he could benefit from continued training to work on habits like jumping up. Culvers enjoys walks but can be startled by loud noises, and he does well home alone when given plenty of toys to keep him occupied. His history with cats is unknown, and since he likes to use his paws and “box” during play, slow and supervised introductions to feline friends would be important. He's currently in a foster home.
