Animal information
A1797297
Located At: Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region
Description: I am a male, black and white Domestic Shorthair (red collar).
Claws: I am not declawed.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 9 weeks old.
Adoption Fee: $300
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 05, 2026.
Shadow – The Hungry Little Climber. Shadow is an energetic tuxedo kitty with three favorite things: food, climbing, and naps! This adventurous little guy loves exploring his surroundings and climbing onto your shoulders, where he'll happily settle in for a cozy snooze. With his playful personality, big appetite, and adorable snuggling habits, Shadow is sure to keep you entertained and smiling!
I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid October.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
