Hi, my name is Sprig, and I'm a very special leo! I'm missing my toe tips due to poor shedding, but that doesn't stop me from exploring! I'm not the best climber without my nails, and my back legs have reduced mobility; but I try my best. I love exploring a safe floor space outside of my terrarium and I think people are the best! I love a gentle head pat sometimes, and lounging on the couch with you! I'm a fantastic eater and not very fussy.
I will need a minimum 40 gallon terrarium with a 90 degree basking light on the warm side, and 75 degrees on the cool side. I need one hide on each end of my tank and a third humidity hide in the middle with lots of damp moss. My bedding is currently paper towel, so my foster can monitor my health; but when I am ready I will need a 70/30% mix of organic soil and sand. I do not currently have UVB because I can get it from my food! My bugs should be dusted with calcium, and every 3-4 feedings with calcium that has added vitamin D! You can even spot me licking up some calcium dust from the little dish in my terrarium!
Due to my history with shedding issues; my reduced mobility; and a brief brush with MBD; I need an experienced handler that can ensure I will thrive. I have lots of love to share and I'm sure to make you giggle!
