Description: My name is Draco.
I am a male, brown Pit Bull Terrier mix.
I am a male, brown Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 12, 2026.
Draco is about 3 years old, around 60 lbs, and basically a big ol’ lovebug who hasn’t gotten the memo that he’s not a lap dog.
He has been settling into foster life beautifully! So far we’ve learned that Draco is potty trained, playful, affectionate, and very people-oriented. He slept in his crate overnight with just a little pacing/scratching at first before settling down nicely.
Draco LOVES kids and previously lived with them before, but should be with a bit older kids; we suggest 8-10 and up. He is overly concerned with loud crying and he does not understand he weighs 60lbs, so can easily knock a small one over.
Draco loves toys, walks, car rides, cuddles, kisses, and pretty much anyone willing to give him attention. He knows several commands and is eager to be involved in whatever his people are doing. He can get a little overexcited with his kisses and be slightly mouthy/nibbly, but he redirects well and we’re working on those polite kissing manners.
He’s also been doing well around our resident dogs with introductions and supervision. He’s currently living with dogs ranging in size from 6 lbs to 70 lbs, but NO cats please!
Basically, Draco is a sweet, goofy, playful, snuggly baby looking for people who will love him as much as he loves them.
If you’re looking for a big-hearted best friend, Draco might just be your guy.
