SENIOR DOG
Some of you may have seen Mama during her visit to Mahaska Drug. Or perhaps you took her on a leisurely walk on the trail! It's also possible you met her during one of her office hang outs.
No matter how you came to meet her, we're sure you've fallen for this charming old lady.
Mama is a 7 year old heeler mix with a big BIG personality.
Mama came in with flea dermatitis and an ear infection. Since her intake, her skin has improved immensely thanks to her receiving 2 medicated baths a week and antibiotics from the vet!
We got Mama when a sheriff's deputy called about a dog lying on the highway; possibly having been hit by a car. Animal Control immediately got in the truck and drove to the location. In the meantime, the deputy placed the dog on a blanket and shuffled them off of the road.
When animal control pulled up; Mama sat up, started wagging her tail, and began wiggling her way over to our animal control officer.
Thus began the tale of Mama-The biggest ham ever.
If you enjoy being happy, come out to visit Mama
