Meet Ira!
Big guy, big heart, and a whole lot of potential — meet Ira! This handsome boy came to SafeHaven from Marion County Animal Services, and he's ready to turn the page and start an exciting new chapter with a family of his very own.
Ira is a bundle of love just waiting for someone to give him his chance to shine! He's already picked up a few basic commands and is ready to keep learning as he settles into his new life. With his future family cheering him on, tasty treats to motivate him, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Ira has so much room to grow into an even more amazing companion.
Ira is still polishing his leash manners and can be a strong puller, especially when the world around him gets exciting. He can also have some big feelings when he spots other dogs on walks, so he'll do best with a patient, committed family who can help him navigate those moments and build positive experiences. Consistency, encouragement, and reward-based training will be key to helping this good boy succeed!
Are you the person who can see Ira's potential, celebrate his progress, and help him discover just how wonderful life can be? He's ready for a fresh start with someone who will be in his corner through the learning curves and all the happy moments in between. His next chapter is waiting — and maybe you're the missing piece of his story!
Stop by SafeHaven to meet Ira and see if you're the team he's been waiting for!
Ira will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on preventative care at the time of adoption.
