Meet Travis! Travis is about 12 years old and has a low energy level. Travis has spent the last 10+ years of his life in a home and finds himself back in our shelter due to absolutely no fault of his own. We would love to get him back into a home ASAP.
Let’s start with the “bad:” Travis needs to be an only pet, because he doesn’t like to share his stuff with other animals. That’s it.
Otherwise, he is easy on leash, house trained, did well with the toddler, and has a lower energy level. He is a sweet old man that enjoys short walks, a comfy bed, toys, and the affection of his people. He doesn’t seem to want a whole lot more in life. He is pretty hard of hearing, so he sleeps hard and sound, not seeming to be bothered by a whole lot.
Realistically, as a senior boy who needs to be an only dog, his chances of finding a home are stacked against him. That won’t stop us from doing our best and we won’t give up. He will overall be an easy easy boy for that special family willing to open up their home to Travis for his remaining years. Please come meet this boy and help him beat the odds and get back into a home!
