Description: My name is Axel.

I am a male, black and brown Alaskan Husky mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 27, 2026.
This sweet guy was recently surrendered to our shelter through no fault of his own, and he's adjusting to a whole new chapter of life.
Once Axel gets comfortable, his personality really shines. He's energetic, playful, incredibly social, and absolutely loves people. He's also a big fan of hugs, so don't be surprised if he tries to greet you with one.
Axel loves having other dogs around and enjoys playing with his canine siblings. He's happiest when he's active, whether that's running, playing, exploring outside, or simply spending time with his people.
He's already leash trained and ready for someone who he can exercise, explore, and be his goofy self with.
Axel may need a little time to settle into a new environment, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes an incredibly loving and loyal companion.
He had a home once.
Now he's looking for the person who will make sure his next one is forever
