Meet Holstein -- yes, just like the cow :)
This kind soul is a dog who came to our facility after being found as a stray with unfortunately no form of identification. After some time spent in the shelter, we wanted to offer him some temporary home life experience in hopes of finding a forever home! His temporary foster home was kind enough to share some words about what he was like in her home - please read about that here and let us know if you'd like to meet this cute guy!
"A happy boy! He makes a great shadow while I'm doing things around the house - loves to be wherever I am.
Loves to play ball - will often carry one around the house or nap with one (or two - see pictures). Outside time whether on walks or just to hang out is enjoyed, and he also does well on a leash. Loves to go on car rides (especially when the windows are down, he likes to lick at the air - LOL)
Energy level is moderate - will play and loves walks, but is perfectly content curled up on the couch as well.
Knows "sit" and "no" - is treat motivated! The kennel is not exactly his favorite, but once everyone else in the house is settled in for the evening, he sleeps through the night. He's also only had one accident while here!"
