Are you ready to be introduced to the shaggiest lover at the shelter? Meet FERGUS :)
At around a year and a half old, Fergus is still figuring out this big world, and he’s hoping his next chapter finally leads him home. He’s a gangly, goofy, lovable guy with long legs, plenty of energy, and a whole lot of love to give!
Fergus walks nicely on a leash, but if he had his way, every walk would end with a hug and some quality cuddle time. This sweet boy is all about his people, and since this is his second shelter environment, he’s eager to soak up every bit of affection he can get from his visitors. Can you blame him?
One of the best things about Fergus is that he can bring the fun when you’re ready for an adventure, but he’s just as happy to slow things down and be your snuggle buddy when life feels a little heavy. Whether you’re looking for a companion to keep you moving or a big, warm friend to curl up beside you, Fergus is ready to meet you where you are.
As a big guy who’s still learning his manners, Fergus will need a home that can accommodate his size and help him continue learning the basics. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he has so much potential to grow into an amazing lifelong companion.
Fergus has spent enough time in shelters. Now he’s looking for a family who will give him the love, security, and affection he’s been waiting for - not just for a visit, but forever.
Could Fergus be your new best friend? Come meet this lovable, lanky cuddlebug and see just how much love one big dog can bring into your life!
