This striking white cat with a dashing black mask and signature dipstick tail is one-of-a-kind—and I have the personality to match!
First, there’s my acrobat act. I can contort, twist, fold, and maneuver my body into positions that seem to defy the laws of physics. I may look like an ordinary cat lounging around, but give me a moment and I’ll transform into a furry Cirque du Soleil performer!
Then there’s my inner pirate. Toys are treasure, and I take treasure protection very seriously. I’ll stash my favorite toys in secret locations, guarding my booty with the dedication of a pirate protecting a chest of gold. Of course, my humans are welcome to admire my collection—as long as they understand that the captain decides when it’s time to share.
But my greatest obsession is YOU. I seek out human attention like a heat-seeking missile. If there’s a person somewhere in the house, I intend to find them. I love being where the action is and will make it my personal mission to get your attention, whether that means following you around, seeking affection, or simply making sure you know that I’ve arrived.
With my unforgettable looks, gravity-defying flexibility, treasure-hoarding habits, and laser-focused love of people, I’m a true original.
Almost Home adopts kittens under 6 months of age in pairs, as kittens that young are not fully socialized and need a same/similar-age playmate in order not to become a nuisance to family members—including other pets in the home. Adopting kittens in pairs allows them to complete the kitty socialization process, learn good kitty manners, and have a playmate so their humans can sleep at night. We consider adopting single kittens to applicants who have another young kitty under 1 year of age, provided the applicant’s kitten is up to date on all age-appropriate vetting.
Almost Home's Adoption Requirements:
* Be at least 21 years of age
* Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household
* Have written approval from owner of residence
* Have a valid government-issued photo ID with current address
* Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation
* Be ready to make a lifetime commitment
* Live in the greater Chicagoland area (Illinois residents only)
* Pass a veterinarian reference check for current and past pets
