I am a male, brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 15, 2026.
Wally is very engaging and ready to play...especially if you’re going to play ball! He’ll be all in! Wally is a two year-old 47 pound attractive tan American Pit Bull terrier that was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/15 as a stray. He appears to have what they call a "ball drive." He loves to chase a ball but then he’s reluctant to release it. He may be resource guarding so this is something to be aware of. He is high energy, spirited, playful, very focused and very agile. He definitely has playful charm and will settle down in order to sit for treats. He also walks well on a leash. He did his business immediately when he got out of the yard, so he may be housebroken. Wally would do best with an active family that would keep him engaged.
