I am a male, white Mixed Breed mix.
I am a male, white Mixed Breed mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 30, 2026.
Besides being a cutie pie, Kevin is spry, spirited and spunky. He is a four year-old 52 pound mostly white mixed breed that was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/3 as a stray. He is already fixed. When he was outside, he did a lot of nervous pacing. He ran back-and-forth along the perimeter of the yard. He spent a lot of time looking out as though he was wanting to get out. I’m assuming he was looking for his owners. He will need a tall secure fence. I was having a difficult time getting good photos so I brought him inside. He immediately calmed down. He seemed more relaxed. He came to me and let me pet him. It didn’t appear that he knew any commands. It doesn’t seem that he’s had much socialization but did come to me when I called him and appeared to enjoy closeness.. He needs to feel loved in order to give love. He’s got a lot of potential. He walked well on a leash. So while he’d like to get out to explore and expend some energy, he would like to enjoy the closeness of a family.
