Meet Ivy! This sweet 1-year-old girl weighs around 41 pounds and is currently enjoying life in a foster home while she waits for her forever family.
Ivy can be a little shy and timid when she first meets you, but she warms up quickly. Once she’s comfortable, her playful and energetic personality really starts to shine! She loves being around her people, although her crate has become one of her favorite cozy spots. She’s been doing wonderfully in an apartment and also enjoys having a backyard to explore.
Ivy is a big fan of bully sticks, while toys haven’t quite won her over yet. She’s also been out and about with her foster family, including trips to Walmart and Dollar General. She isn’t a fan of walking around stores, but she’s perfectly content riding along in a cart. She does great once she’s in the car, although getting in and out is not her favorite part!
Ivy would love a patient family who will give her a little time to settle in and feel comfortable. Once she does, you’ll get to see the sweet, silly, energetic girl her foster family has come to know and love.
We haven’t had the opportunity to see how Ivy does with other dogs, cats, or children yet, so those introductions are still unknown. Her foster family has been helping her experience new things and gain confidence, and she’s been doing great!
If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, Ivy may be the one for you!

All dogs and cats will be spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care, and microchipped.
