More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 29, 2026.
Meet Cupcake! At almost 14 pounds, Cupcake’s vet describes him as “stacked.” But don’t let his size fool you because this handsome boy is a total gentle giant. He may be large, but he is definitely not in charge! This beautiful brown tabby is around two-and-a-half years old, which means he is well past the kitten chaos stage. Cupcake is easygoing, affectionate, and an all-around easy guy. He’s comfortable being groomed, settles easily into a carrier, loves being brushed, and is happiest spending time with his person.
A former stray, Cupcake was rescued earlier this year after showing up at his foster mom’s house with a limp. Thankfully, he has made a full recovery and is now fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered (sorry, Cupcake!), and ready to embrace his new life as a pampered indoor kitty. He is FeLV and FIV negative.
Cupcake is smart, curious, and full of personality. His adorable trills and expressive little face make it pretty easy to know exactly what he’s thinking, especially when he’s trying to figure out where you’ve hidden the Churu. He’s a pro with teaser wands and loves hiding toys under blankets so he can fish them back out. He enjoys chasing and pouncing, and his butt-wiggle before a good pounce is truly unmatched.
Cupcake is very social with other cats and would love having a kitty friend or two. He can be a little nervous around new people and unfamiliar objects, so he would do best in a quiet, predictable home where he has time to settle in at his own pace. He is not a fan of dogs, so a dog-free home is definitely his preference.
If you’re looking for a big, sweet, affectionate guy with plenty of personality and just the right amount of sass, Cupcake might be the little treat you need in your life!
