Meet Emma Lou! This sweet 4-year-old spayed girl is looking for a soft place to land and a family to call her own. Emma Lou has a gentle side and enjoys calm interactions with people. She’s been known to sit quietly, wag her tail, give kisses, and happily accept pets and attention.
Emma Lou is learning that life on a leash can be a little different from her previous life as an outdoor working dog. She can be nervous in new situations and may need a patient family willing to give her time to build confidence and learn at her own pace. She has lived around other animals, but she can be curious around other dogs, so slow introductions and thoughtful management will be important. Her history with cats and children is unknown.
