I am a female, white and black Rat Terrier and Chihuahua - Smooth Coated.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 6 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 22, 2026.
Meet Oreo, a gentle, shy young girl who needs love and gives it right back. She's an affectionate, 10-pound lap dog who is submissive and quiet. Her sometimes calm, sometimes excitable nature keeps you guessing. She' a mellow social butterfly who i also a loner. She might be afraid of other dogs but she is jumpy and gentle with children. Due to her fears at the shelter, she'll need to live with kids at least six years old. This smart girl is obedient and knows the sit, stay, come, no, and down commands and is already house trained. Leash walking is a work in progress but she won't run away while off leash. She is well behaved in the home and never got into trouble. She likes agility, running, tugging, toys, chase, and wrestling. She is protective of her home and family, a blend of curiosity and independence. She was given up because she was part of an unwanted little. Friendly, lovable Oreo will make a great addition to your home. (tw 10/25/2026)
