More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 20, 2026.
Meet Chocolate! This girl 1 year old girl is an absolute lovebug who is all about making connections. She is an incredibly sweet soul who is eager to share affection, often leaning her whole body into you for pets, nuzzling, and even offering belly rubs while standing, she is just so loving! Chocolate is more focused on people than toys and isn't currently interested in playtime, so she will need some patient confidence building to help her discover the fun of toys. While she’s very friendly, she can be a bit cautious when approaching new people, sometimes appearing low to the ground before jumping up for attention. She’s curious and loves to sniff and explore on walks, though she can be a bit alert to her surroundings. She can also be a bit startled by sudden sounds, so she'd do best in a home with older kids who can provide a calm, steady environment.
