Meet Caliber or “Cal”- a lovable, happy 5-year-old who's ready to find his forever family! With his sweet, spirited personality, Caliber enjoys spending time outdoors, whether he's exploring new places, going for walks, running around, or relaxing in the fresh air.
Caliber has a playful side and occasionally gets the zoomies, especially when it's time to play or head outside. He enjoys being active and is always up for a game of fetch or some exercise during his walks. Having completed obedience school, he knows a variety of commands, including jumps and other fun exercises, and is happy to perform them when a tasty liver treat is on offer! After some time outside, he's more than ready to head home, relax on his cozy bed, and settle in with one of his favourite durable chew toys - he definitely appreciates one that can keep up with him!
Although Caliber is a big boy, he’s equally as much of a big softie who loves attention and affection. One of his favourite things is receiving pets and attention from his people. He enjoys being around his family and is always happy to soak up affection.
Caliber is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a new home. He gets along well with other dogs and has done well around both younger and older children. He has a calm temperament and is generally quiet around the house, only barking to let you know when someone new has arrived. Caliber is also surprisingly sensitive to emotions. If someone is crying, he'll often howl along, as though he's trying to offer his support in his own way. His curious nature means he enjoys being included in whatever his family is doing and likes to see what's going on around him.
Now, Caliber is looking for a loving home where he can be a cherished member of the family. If you're looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion who enjoys outdoor adventures, relaxing at home, and spending time with his people, Caliber could be the perfect addition to your family.
