I am a male, black and white Mixed Breed.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 09, 2026.
Hi, I’m Sir Nicolas (Nic)!
About me: I’m a happy, well-behaved gent who loves meeting people and making friends! I came into rescue after being left on a chain that became embedded in my neck. Despite the trauma I’ve been through, I am one of the most trusting, loyal and loving dogs you could ever meet. My past hasn’t stopped me from loving people, and I have so much love to give my forever family!
I enjoy car rides, long walks, exploring, and playing with other dogs. I learn commands quickly and have good recall. I’m affectionate but also enjoy a little independence. I’m not a fan of kennels, but I’m happy snoozing on my dog bed (or my foster dad’s bed!). I’m fully house-trained and will sit by the door when I need to go outside. I’m a big, strong boy who sometimes likes to choose the direction of our walks, so I need someone confident handling the leash. I love my toys and bones, and I’m happy to share with my friends.
Likes: Bones, chew toys, balls, treats, good food, long walks on grass, car rides, and playing with other dogs.
Dislikes: NOTHING! I love life!
Special request: I need a family who can confidently manage my size and strength on walks. I love children, but I could accidentally bump over little ones, so a home with toddlers may not be the best fit.
Kennel trained: No
House trained: Yes, no accidents!
Dogs: Yes
Cats: No
Children: Yes
