I am a female, brown and orange Domestic Shorthair mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 5 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 23, 2026.
Reagan came to the SPCA from a very large hoarding situation several months ago. Due to that large population of animals, very little socialization was taking place. Because of this many of those cats from that home are a little reluctant to get too friendly with humans. Reagan is in that catagory.
Patience would be needed for a period of time to win Reagan over. She loves to play with stick toys, whether there is a feather on the end or our busy bee. Sometimes you can even sneak in a quick pet while she is playing. She has become a little more brave and started coming out of her pen with her friend Arizona.
Reagan is a petite little beauty with uniquely different colored fur around each eye.
Many cats from that home had very similar apprehensions and were able to overcome their fears once adopted into nice homes according to testimonies from their adopters.
* I am from a large scale investigation/seizure where over 80 animals were taken from one home. I will need a patient family that will allow me to figure out this new life at my own pace. Since I am used to living with so many other furry friends around me, another feline companion may help me come out of my shell quicker.
