Meet Luke! Luke has a beautiful dark tabby coat with wide stripes that will catch your eye. Luke is not afraid of people but is a bit on the shy side due to his previous living conditions. He came from a hoarding situation where unfortunately there was no socializing with the cats. He tends to warily watch from a specific spot in his pen and wont rush to the door to greet you. But once you formally introduce yourself with some quiet words and a soft touch (and maybe a treat or two), its like a magic key to his affection. He opens up and soaks in every moment of attention.
This gentle soul will need someone with plenty of patience to give, but the reward will be a fiercely loyal purring companion.
We have received many positive testimonials from adopters of other cats from this particular home that had the same timid characteristics as Luke. Those cats became like brand new kitties sometimes in a matter of 24-48 hours as the became playful lap sitters and much more. A change of scenery can do so much for these sweet cats! Although Luke previously lived with an array of cats, he would thrive in a quiet home with no small children or super active pets. Wouldn't it be awesome to witness for yourself a complete transformation of handsome Luke?
Come and pay a visit to our main adoption room and meet this big beautiful boy!!
