Description: My name is Rosey.

I am a female, grey and white Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 3 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 18, 2026.
Rosey didn’t get the easiest start in life. She came to us covered in bugs and severely underweight, and she was understandably very shy and unsure of people.
She may still be slow to come to you at first, but give Rosey a little time and patience, and you’ll discover a completely different girl. Once she feels comfortable, Rosey is playful, quirky, and so much fun that you can’t help but laugh at her silly personality.
She absolutely loves other dogs, and having a canine friend around seems to give her an extra boost of confidence. Since coming to us, Rosey has put on weight, is feeling so much better, and is learning that life can be pretty wonderful.
Rosey knows her basic commands and really loves a good reward. Treats may have been our secret weapon for winning her heart!
Now she just needs a family willing to give her the same patience and kindness that helped her come out of her shell. She deserves a home where she will be cherished for the incredibly sweet dog she is.
We have a feeling that once Rosey lets you into her heart, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.
