If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing girl who can happily spend the afternoon curled up beside you and zoom around the yard with her dog friends, Lilac might be your perfect match.
Lilac is a 28-pound Chihuahua mix with a laid-back, affectionate personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly—and once you’ve earned her trust, prepare to have a tiny shadow! She loves being close to her person, follows her humans from room to room, and is perfectly content spending a lazy day cuddled up watching TV.
?? A few things to love about Lilac:
* ?? Very affectionate: Once she knows you, she wants to be right by your side.
* ??? Certified couch potato: She loves cuddles and lazy days at home.
* ?? Playful, too: When it’s time to have fun, Lilac loves running around the fenced yard, playing with the other dogs, and enjoying all kinds of toys.
* ?? Gentle with her toys: She loves toys but doesn’t destroy them.
* ?? Wonderful with other dogs: Lilac currently lives with a whole crew of dogs of different breeds and sizes, including Standard Poodles, Pit Bulls, a Rottweiler mix, and a Schnauzer mix. She integrates quickly with new dogs and has even been known to pile onto the dog bed for a cuddle with her canine friends.
* ?? Great at reading doggy social cues: She knows when another dog wants to play and, just as importantly, when they need a break.
* ?? Quiet: Lilac rarely barks, although she may voice her opinion when crated.
* ?? Making great potty-training progress: She has picked up on potty training very quickly.
* ?? No aggression: She has shown no food aggression or aggression of any kind.
* ?? Good in the car: She settles down and lies quietly during car rides without any issues.
* ?? Treat of choice: Chewy Beef & Filet Mignon flavored Milk-Bones are the way to this girl’s heart!
?? Lilac’s Perfect Home
One of the best things about Lilac is how adaptable she is. She could be a wonderful match for a first-time dog owner or an experienced family with multiple dogs. She enjoys having canine friends but also absolutely loves spending quality time with her humans.
A fenced yard would give her plenty of room for her happy little runs during potty breaks, but she could also be a great apartment companion thanks to her quiet, laid-back nature. After she’s gotten her playtime in, she’s more than happy to return to her favorite activity: being a couch potato with her person.
Lilac is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just someone to love, a comfy place to cuddle, a few toys, some tasty treats, and a spot right beside her human. ??
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, dog-friendly companion who can fit into many different lifestyles, come meet Lilac. She just might decide you’re the person she wants to follow everywhere. ??
