Description: My name is Ghost.

I am a male, white Great Pyrenees.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2025.
Name: Ghost
Breed: Husky/Doodle Blend
Age: 3.5 yrs
Gender: Neutered Male
Weight: 95 lbs
Lifestyle: Would love a yard to play in or daily walks. Very smart and trainable.
Play Style: Rough and Rowdy
Compatibility: Adult only household, did well with other dogs in play group, unknown history with cats and other animals.
My Story: Don’t let the name fool you—Ghost is very much present, especially when it comes to watching over his people and his space with quiet loyalty. At 95 lbs, he’s a majestic Pyrenees blend with the calm, confident demeanor of a true guardian breed, unless his space is disrespected then he can get a little spicy.
Ghost is not your typical cuddler. He prefers to give love on his terms, leaning into your presence, laying nearby, or simply keeping a watchful eye over the homestead. He’s affectionate in a quiet, respectful way and thrives in a home that appreciates independence and patience.
Ghost’s Dream Home:
A calm, experienced owner who understands guardian breeds and respects space
A large, securely fenced yard where he can patrol and lounge at his leisure
A low-traffic household with structure and routine
An adult only household
Someone who respects his space and lets trust grow naturally
He has so much to offer the right person, loyalty, companionship, and the quiet dignity of a dog who doesn’t beg for attention, but gives his heart fully when he chooses you.
If you’re looking for a majestic, low-key companion who takes pride in his role and gives love his own way, Ghost just might be your perfect match.
Ghost is clicker trained to come, sit, down and paw.
Please call to schedule any meets with Ghost after an approved application.
Having trainer references is a bonus!
