I am a male, white and red Boxer and Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 12 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 18, 2026.
Name: Snoopy
Age: 12 Years
Gender: Male Neutered
Breed: Boxer Mix
Weight: 39.2Ibs
Snoopy is an absolute sweetheart and a true senior gentleman who is ready to find his forever home. At this point in his life, Snoopy isn’t looking for a wild and crazy adventure — he’s looking for something much better: a comfy bed, a cozy couch, and a home with some good air conditioning where he can spend his days relaxing in comfort.
Snoopy still enjoys a little playtime, although his version of playing is pretty short-lived. He’ll happily play with a toy for a few seconds before deciding he’s had enough and it’s time to relax. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and he takes treats extremely gently, showing off just how sweet and polite this old man can be.
Snoopy has done well with a small, calm poodle who respected his space and didn’t bother him. He also met a larger dog who attempted to snap at him, and Snoopy understandably was not a fan. Because of this, if Snoopy has a canine roommate, we think he would do best with a respectful, calm dog who understands boundaries and won’t invade his personal space. After all, Snoopy is a senior gentleman and he’s probably not interested in being messed with all day long!
Snoopy has so much love left to give and could be an incredible best friend for someone willing to give a senior dog the chance he deserves. He doesn’t need much — just a soft place to land, a peaceful home, someone to love him, and a family willing to let him enjoy his golden years in comfort.
Sometimes the best companions are the ones who just want to sit beside you. We think Snoopy could be that dog.
