I am a male, chocolate Mixed Breed mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 28, 2026.
Chocolate is a sweet and spunky boy who came in with his brother, Flash. They both came from a home with a lot of other dogs and they haven't seem to have had much socialization with people and places so they are very timid and cautious with new people at first. But given time and patience their personality really comes out! Chocolate is more of a busy bee - he likes to be on the go! He loves toys, treats, and he's not a fan of sharing stuff with other dogs. He may prefer to be an only dog where he can keep all his treasures for himself, including his favorite people!
More about Chocolate:
- 5 years old, 14 pounds
- Came in with his brother, Flash. They do not need to be adopted together.
- Sweet and fun once he gets comfortable but will be timid and cautious with new people at first (may require more than one meet with new people to get comfortable)
- Best suited for a quiet home without a lot of people coming and going
- Suggested for homes with children in their teen years
- Likes toys and LOVES treats
- May prefer to be an only dog as he doesn't seem to like to share his toys, treats and attention with other animals.
- Neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations
Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Interested in adopting? Please visit our adoption process page at https://www.oahs.org/dog-adoption-process/ and fill out an application. Questions? Email dog@oahs.org or call (920) 424-2128 ext 108.
