KITTEN ADOPTION POLICY:
Kittens under 6 months of age are required to be adopted in pairs and must remain together after adoption. We have this policy in place to help prevent Single Kitten Syndrome and some of the behavioral and social challenges that can occur when a young kitten grows up without another kitten companion.
Kittens learn so much from one another during their first several months of life. Having another kitten to grow, play, and interact with helps teach appropriate play, boundaries, bite inhibition, and other important social skills. A kitten companion also provides an outlet for their energy and gives them a friend to play with, sleep with, and seek comfort from as they adjust to their new home.
While adopting two kittens may sound like twice the work, having a companion can actually make the transition easier for many kittens. They can entertain and learn from one another rather than relying entirely on their human family for stimulation and play.
Because this policy is intended to support the kittens throughout this important stage of development, kittens adopted as a pair are expected to remain together after adoption. Please be prepared to make a lifelong commitment to both kittens before applying.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application, we will begin processing it. When we are ready to move forward, we will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet the kittens.
Compatible pairs are $40
