Meet Appa!
Appa is friendly and outgoing—and she has a wonderfully loving soul. Appa is a snuggly girl who loves being close to her people. She’s a lap cat who would be perfectly happy curling up with you and enjoying some quiet time together.
If you’re looking for a sweet companion, Appa may be your girl. With patience, love, and time to settle in, she’ll be ready to show you just how special she is!
Good with Dogs: Possibly. Did live with a dog and was o.k. We do recommend a slow introduction
Good with cats: Possibly. Did live with another cat and did fine. We do recommend a slow introduction
Good with children: Unknown. We do recommend a slow introduction
Note: Appa arrived at NHS with a significant urinary tract infection with crystals. She has been treated for the infection and is feeling much better. Due to the crystals, she has been switched to a prescription urinary food diet which she should continue to assume crystals don't re-form.
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
