I am a male, red American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 17, 2026.
LOCATION - Main kennels
This handsome senior may not be a member of Akatsuki, but he’s just as striking as his namesake and utterly devoted to his people. A staff favorite loved by everyone at the shelter, Itachi is a calm, quiet, petite-sized companion who, despite being blind, still sees shadows and navigates life with charm and confidence (with the occasional bump into something!). He’s a friendly couch potato and total goofball who loves lounging nearby, asking for belly rubs or scratches, and joyfully greeting you even after the shortest absence. He has a hilarious passion for smelling plants, and by smelling plants, we mean burying his whole face in greenery like he’s trying to become one with the garden. Affectionate, gentle, and surprisingly talented, he knows “careful,” “sit,” “down,” and “paw”, and is easy on leash. He can be quite snuggley! Sweet, silly, and devoted, Itachi is the perfect low-key buddy for anyone wanting a loving companion always close by.

known medical and behavior information.
