I am a male, white and black American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old.

Peteys adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored ??Thanks Jenn
“Please give me a second chance at life, Griffin pond saved my life before I was killed for medical reasons at another shelter but now I still sit and wait for a real home day after day.
I’m stressed in my kennel, can’t seem to settle in here
, I would like a much more docile atmosphere that isn’t so loud.”
Petey recently passed the 4 year mark
In the kennels this month.
He’s come so far but not close enough to real happiness in a home of his own.
He’s a 8 year old boy who was in need of help with medical issues that have been fully cared for and he possesses a few bumps and bruises to show that he’s been knocked around a bit in his life.
No other dogs , no cats and no kids .
Petey is a ham for the camera, a great sidekick in the car, a fabulous hiking or trail companion , the best bench sitter.
He needs to learn to trust people so he would have to meet a potential adopter a few times to feel comfortable with them . A meet and greet would be required. If interested in adopting or fostering please apply if not, PLEASE share !!!
