I am a male, black and tan German Shepherd Dog mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 01, 2026.
Max is a sweet 8-year-old gentleman with a shy and sensitive personality and a heart full of love to give! He may be a little unsure at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a loving boy who is eager to please and form a special bond with someone. Max just needs a little patience, reassurance, and a gentle approach to help him feel safe and comfortable. With a quiet environment and someone willing to give him the time he needs, we hope this sweet senior will begin to let his personality shine. Max deserves a cozy place to relax, feel loved, and enjoy some much-needed TLC!
Foster Reason: Max is in need of a foster home while awaiting a sedated medical exam. A calm, comfortable home environment would be wonderful for him while he waits for his medical needs to be addressed.
Come meet me from 12 to 6 p.m., any day of the week.
