I am a female, black and brown Domestic Shorthair mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 06, 2026.
Scarlet is a lovely dark tabby with a soft brown glow across her back, giving her a beautiful, warm-toned coat of black, brown, and tan. She's the quieter of the two sisters and likes to take her time getting to know new people, but beneath that shy exterior is an incredibly sweet little heart.
How much does it cost to adopt?
Scarlet's adoption price is $140, with an additional refundable $25 deposit that gets you a voucher for a complimentary spay/neuter and a free vet visit from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic and the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments, along with testing and a bag of adoption food. Once proof is provided that the altering surgery has occurred, you will be issued $25 in cash.
