I am a female, white and blond Alaskan Malamute and Great Pyrenees.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old.

Meet Abigail, a stunning Malamute mix with a sweet, deeply loyal heart! She is a clever, active working breed who thrives on daily adventures, squeaky toys, and engaging brain games. Abigail considers herself a bit of a passionate interior decorator... when she gets bored, she loves to reorganize her space and sing you the song of her people, so she’s looking for a fun household that will keep her busy with lots of mental stimulation and active play!
While the busy shelter environment can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for her, underneath her sensitive exterior lies a affectionate, gentle soul who forms incredible, lifelong bonds with her family. Best of all, Abigail is fantastic with kids! She loves being part of a lively family dynamic and would be thrilled to have active kiddos around to join in on playtime, throw her favorite squeaky toys, and share endless snuggles.
Abigail is looking for a home with an experienced owner who understands working breeds, dog body language, and positive reinforcement training. She’d love a household where she can relax and burn off her energy alongside an active family. She would also enjoy a canine companion to keep her company or some doggy friends with proper introductions! If your family is ready for a deeply loyal, fun-loving adventure buddy, Abigail is eager to find her forever home!
All animals at HSLM are under the constant, watchful care of our dedicated Animal Health and Behavior teams. To ensure every pet is ready for their forever home, an animal may be temporarily removed from our website at any time for observation, further testing, or behavior assessment should a concern arise. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the health and happiness of our animals!
