Meet Blaze!
Talk about second chances! Blaze was lucky enough to find a good samaritan after being severely burned. His profile photo still shows his singed whiskers! Blaze showed up at an apartment building skinny, in distress and injured. The property manager noticed him, fed him, and got him in for medical treatment. At the vet, they discovered that the injuries were severe burns, possibly from an automobile engine. His rescuer then called SpayMart!
Blaze came to SpayMart for his recovery and we found out that he is just the sweetest little gentleman. He is put on some much needed weight and his fur has grown back so that you can just barely see his scars--it almost looks like they are a part of his lovely brown and black classic tabby swirls. We do not know his exact age but the veterinarians who treated him estimate he is around 3 years old. For all he has been through, he remains outgoing and friendly. He has gotten along well with all his mates at the shelter.
Want to meet Blaze? He is now at SpayMart Thrift Store and Adoption Center, where you can go say hello to him and all the gals and pals. Just fill out a no-obligation adoption applications at https://spaymart.org/adoption-application/ or email adoptions@spaymart.org!
